Torque Tools: Torque Screwdrivers and Torque Wrenches

Cementex is driven to innovate and provide tools that make working safely the go-to option by engineering tools that fit the job requirements. The importance of following and meeting torque specifications is becoming more important by the day and are typically required in order to maintain manufacturer warranties on the equipment being worked on.

National Electrical Code 2023 – 110.14(D) Terminal Connection Torque. Tightening torque values for
terminal connections shall be as indicated on equipment or in installation instructions provided by the
manufacturer.

Cementex has the largest offering of torque tools in all the various configurations to work with our complete line of interchangeable tools. Talk about options, Torque Screwdrivers, Torque Wrenches in Inch-Pound, Foot-Pound, Newton-Meter with options including X-Drive(R), Short Drive, Fixed Heads,
Low Profile, Non-Ratcheting, Clock Wise only, and even Preset units. We have the tool you need to get the job done right.

We utilize quality American made base torque wrenches and apply our Cementex insulation coating creating the ultimate 1000V rated precision instruments. Should you need, we do offer replacement “boots”. Our torque tools all ship calibrated and require annual recalibration. We offer recalibration services, which include minor
repairs if required for all of our units. Upon inspection, should major repairs be required a quote for the work would be provided. Warranties on our torque tools apply only to tools that have maintained their annual calibrations.

Always store all adjustable models at their lowest torque setting without forcing below that setting.

TORQUE WRENCHES
Cementex Torque Wrenches are available with various configurations. To simplify the available offerings, we have identified these options in chart format, organized by the Size, or working range of the units. Each part number is listed and identifies the Scale of range whether it is Inch-Pound, Foot-Pound, Newton-Meter or a Preset. It then provides the appropriate Square Drive options of the unit including the Drive tang and Lever styles.
If the configuration that you require is not listed within the chart or you wish to have it created as a kit and that option was not shown, contact your Cementex Dealer or Sales Representative to inquire about your request.

• Audible “click” and/or a few degrees of travel provide simple, fast indication of micrometer-accurate torque settings.
• Low friction torque control mechanism produces accurate readings in either direction.
• All torque wrenches have tolerance limits of +/-4 of in clockwise (right-hand) setting.
• Two calibration adjustments (major and fine) permit easy and precise torque settings. Most conventional torque wrenches only have one adjustment.
• Dual scale models give readings in Inch-Pound/Newton-Meter or Foot-Pound/Newton-Meter.
• Spring-loaded or Twist-locking collar locks scale on desired reading and remains in locked position. Wrench cannot be left inadvertently unlocked.
• Heavy-Duty, reversible ratchet models have quick-shift lever to allow easy single-hand shifting.
• Always store adjustable models at their lowest torque setting without forcing below lowest setting.
• Meets or exceeds ASME B107.14M and ISO 6789
